LaserSoft - Distribute and sort documents
The production of business documents can place high demands on the „intelligent“ distribution of the end documents. A simple example is to ensure certain document, e.g. invoices, are not only printed but also archived in parallel, which in turn requires the distribution of the documents to multiple output channels.
LibertySoft® processes output data streams from applications including standard systems such as SAP™ R/3, and transforms this data into formatted documents for various output media.
At the same time, individual documents from a complete batch (file, print job) can be distributed (or duplicated) to several output channels. The sort order and the final layout of the documents can vary per output channel.
Distribution Lists
Sorting and Segmentation (distribution) of documents takes place automatically depending on the content of the raw data. The configuration of the Distribution Lists is done with the LS/Studio component.
Applications
Documents created by LibertySoft can, for example, be output to an output channel for the central print production with post processing collation and in parallel output to a second channel with an interface to an archiving system. The documents can also be distributed to multiple channels for de-centralized printing. Thus, despite a central processing of the data, documents can be distributed and printed to external and/or remote offices and departments.In addition, depending on information available in the raw input data, the documents could be forwarded per e-mail. These are just some of the possibilities provided by LibertySoft.
